Wes is a 23 year member of the Barbershop Harmony Society. Wes grew up immersed in 4-part

a capella harmony. He is a third generation quartet singer, and as a youngster sang in a gospel quartet with his father, grandfather and uncle. He competed in his first barbershop quartet competition at the age of 16, singing lead in a high school quartet. Soon after that he switched to tenor and sang with his dad and uncle in the Rural Route 4, 1986 International Quartet Champions.

Upon meeting his lovely (and very understanding!) wife, Kate, he packed up and followed her to the Pacific Northwest. Over the last 10 years Wes has sung in two Evergreen District champion quartets: Reunion (1999) and most recently with JetSet lead Tim Marron in Flashpoint (2001). Wes currently lives in Seattle, WA with Kate and their two children, Ellie (7) and Matthew (4).
